Placing an Order

In-Stock
Frames are finished and we have them in hand ready to ship within 2-3 business days.

Warehouse
Frames are finished but are located in our warehouse awaiting shipment. Processing may take 2-3 weeks for shipping.

In-Production
Frames are actively in production. The approximate completion date will be noted when you choose your frame size from the dropdown menu on the product page.

Built-to-Order
Frame sizes that are not included in our batch production orders will need to be built-to-order. The current lead time is approximately 12 weeks.
 

As a small business in the process of expanding our in-stock inventory, we currently have frames in various stages of availability. This phased approach helps us balance immediate availability with long-term scalability. This strategic approach also helps us keep overhead costs lower, which enables passing significant savings on to our customers through lower pricing.

As we focus on efficiently scaling up our in-stock inventory, custom frame orders are currently unavailable. Please know that considerable thought has gone into our frame designs and their intended mission – each engineered with targeted features to maximize frame performance and enhance the riding experience for our customers.

International customers; please note that the payment will complete in USD and you may incur associated transaction fees and taxes.​

To redeem a discount code, select the shopping bag icon to enter your shopping cart. Enter the code into the ‘Coupon Code’ box and click on ‘Apply Coupon’. If you proceed to checkout without entering your code you’ve gone too far and need to go back to your shopping cart. Unless otherwise noted, you can only use one promotional code per order.

Make sure you haven’t clicked through to the checkout before adding your coupon code, as it can only be entered while you’re in the shopping cart.

Some coupon codes are set to expire after a certain time, so it might be that you’re using an outdated code. Also, some of our codes are for single use so if you’ve used it already, you won’t be able to use it again.

Unless otherwise noted, coupon codes cannot be used on sale items, and you can’t use more than one code on a single order.

You’ll receive a confirmation email when you place your order and your payment has been processed successfully.

If you do not receive these emails, check your spam folder. Unfortunately, email clients such as Hotmail and Yahoo often consider emails from unfamiliar senders as junk mail. If you still can’t locate these emails, please let us know.

Shipping Information

Standard Tracked and Insured Shipping

Frames are shipped via UPS unless going to an APO/FPO address. Special arrangements can be made to ship to our overseas military members or contractors. Contact us for assistance.

Frames ship within the lower 48 United States for a flat fee of $60. This price includes insurance on your frame in case it is lost or damaged during the shipping process. An adult signature will be required at the time of delivery.

Handlebars are shipped via UPS for a nominal fee ($12-$15) specified during the checkout process. The price includes insurance on your bars.

Small parts, apparel, and other non-frame items are shipped most frequently via USPS for a nominal fee ($4-$8) specified during the checkout process. 

You will be emailed with a link to track the progress of your package upon completion of your order. Please use this link to manage your delivery.

* Additional shipping fees will be required for Alaska, Hawaii, and international customers.

 

Yes we do! It is our pleasure to work with international customers! Please contact us with your shipping address and we will provide you with a detailed quote that includes the shipping, insurance, and international duties/taxes fees.

If we are shipping a frame or handlebars to you, an adult signature will be required at the time of delivery. If you are unable to be home during that time, we strongly recommend providing us with a work or another address where someone will be available to sign and receive your package.

If we are shipping smaller items to you, they will likely be delivered by USPS. The package will be tracked, but not insured, and will either be placed in your mail receptacle or left at your front doorstep.

We primarily use UPS and USPS.  If shipping to your location requires special arrangements, please contact us.

Product Information

Our titanium frames, handlebars, and bottle cages are manufactured in China. Our designs feature unique combinations of curves and bends, and we work with one of three manufacturers depending on the complexity of the design. Each manufacturer maintains high quality standards and takes pride in its craftsmanship.

 

Frames

Each frame is individually handcrafted using seamless 3Al-2.5V (ASTM Grade 9) titanium alloy tubing with bosses and other fittings of 6Al-4V (ASTM Grade 5) titanium alloy.

Handlebars

Our Binary ‘B’ bars and Falken bars are handcrafted using seamless 3AI-2.5V titanium alloy.

Bottle Cages

Our seamless hollow-tube bottle cages are handcrafted using seamless 3AI-2.5V titanium alloy.

We recommend using a light grease or titanium anti-seize between metal to metal contact to avoid galling and cold welding of the components.  This will also help eliminate the infamous creaking that can occur with titanium frames.

Using an anti-slip grease on the seat post will help prevent slippage and the need to over-tighten seat clamps.

Although your titanium frame is noncorrosive, your other components are susceptible to corrosion.  We recommend using just a spray bottle with isopropyl alcohol or a light degreaser, such as Windex, Simple Green, etc. and a soft cloth.  Many times, plain water works just fine!  Of course, muddy situations may call for a more robust cleaning.  In that case, we recommend spraying the components with a water-displacer, such as WD-40, once you’re finished washing your bike.

If your frame gets a few scratches or blemishes, and if you have a hand-brushed (polished) finish, you can simply use a scotch-brite pad and some elbow grease to polish those right out.  It doesn’t take a lot of effort, so use caution with the courser pads.

Titanium is very tough, but we recommend using frame protector material on the driveside chainstay to prevent chain contact, and on the lower downtube for rock protection.

Componentry

Yes, our frames built with conventional sliding dropouts are! While 12mm conventional sliding dropout inserts are provided with your frame, you can easily switch to Paragon SRAM UDH compatible inserts and axle.

NOTE: We will soon have our own custom SRAM UDH compatible sliding inserts which will provide even more versatility in the setup of your Binary frame!

Your frame will be provided with a dropout insert designed for a 160mm rotor. You can run up to a 203mm rotor with a post adaptor.

 

Any headset with a zero stack 44mm internal upper cup and a 44mm external lower cup should work just fine.  Popular choices are the Chris King InSet i7 and the Cane Creek Zero Stack headsets. (We can currently source the Cane Creek 40 and Hellbender 70 series headsets for you.)

We design all of our frames to use a threaded BSA bottom bracket.

Cancellations and Refunds

If the item(s) have not been shipped, order cancellations made within 72 hours after the purchase date/time stamp will receive a full refund less the merchant fees incurred by us to process your payment.

If the item(s), excluding frames, have already shipped within 72 hours of the date/time stamp and you no longer want them, you may return the items to us in their original unused condition at your expense. You will receive a refund of the item purchase price less the shipping expense and the merchant fees incurred by us to process your payment.

Cancellations after 72 hours may be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss the matter.

At Binary Bicycles, we stand behind the excellent quality of our frames. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied, you may return your frame within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund (less merchant fees), no questions asked.

Please review our ‘Love It or Leave It’ 30-Day Return Policy and proceed accordingly.

International Customers: If you are not completely satisfied with your order and would like to make an exchange or a return, please contact us describing your dissatisfaction, and let’s discuss the matter.  Return shipping, however, may be your responsibility.

We will process your approved refund request within 3-5 business days. Please note it can take an additional 5-7 business days for the electronic transaction to clear our merchant and post the refund to your original payment account.
