Overview & Features
The Chuparosa titanium frame can use 27.5 x 3.0 up to 29 x 2.6 wheels and tires. It’s designed to run 120mm up to 140mm forks and the rear dropout spacing is 148mm boost. The sliding dropouts mean you can run any Paragon-style sliding dropouts. Therefore, it’s easy to adapt to singlespeed or to your axle and hub requirements.
Also, the bottom bracket area has received a lot of attention to make it stiff while the rear triangle maintains that legendary titanium compliance and feel. The stout 44mm downtube is shaped to reduce flex from pedal inputs. As a result, it’s a bike that pedals efficiently, climbs great, and accelerates into a smooth comfortable ride.
The Chuparosa is happy on 29″ tires as a fast trail bike that would give a good account of itself in a cross-country race. But, its sweet spot is on 27.5+ tires with longer travel, running through rocks, roots, and technical singletrack.

Friendly, very helpful on customizing my frame for me with me, accurate about timing on when to expect the frame. I felt cared for and respected and it was fun! I have a bike that I love and I don’t think about. It just disappears under me and all I experience is a playful dancer and a close friend.

If you want a titanium hardtail, talk to George at Binary Bikes. My bike is beautifully welded, reasonably priced, and I was able to customize the geometry to suit my riding style. I still find myself admiring the aesthetics of the frame on a daily basis. It’s also the only frame material I haven’t broken yet. Haha (My wife does not think this is funny anymore.) George and I picked a frame design for my aggressive riding style, it’s way lighter than a comparable steel frame, but much more stout than a racing ti frame. It goes where I point it through the rocky lines and carves singletrack beautifully. The price for the ti frame and George and Jalene’s customer service cannot be beat.

Binary Bicycles is world class! They made me feel like a member of the Binary family right away. The most courteous and friendly buying experience I’ve ever had for any bike.

I love my new Chuparosa. It feels great. It climbs better than any other bike I’ve had, and I’ve been mtb riding for over 30 years. It flies downhill and I’m having to adjust how I corner because of speed. I’m PR-ing sections on trails that I’ve been riding for 20 years.

I want to thank you both for the experience of making the last hardtail I will own. It has pretty much been my only bike I have been using for the past two months, and I have three other bikes at home. The bike rides incredibly, and I love it more each time I ride it.

I wanted to let some time pass before I provided a review. I’ve logged 400 miles on my Chuparosa so far and have it completely dialed in and I love it! I came from a true xc geometry frame so this bike feels very well planted and handles awesome on tech, switchbacks, punchy climbs, downhills, etc. Due to the custom geometry, I feel that I’m truly in the bike versus riding on top of it. I’m very happy with the quality of the frame as well as the custom touches I added. I opted for a little longer chainstays to help keep climbing comfortable and sure-footed. I’m a tall guy and this bike will always be set up single speed and is a solid performer! The Binary team makes the experience awesome too with solid friendly communication before, during, and after the frame build. Looking forward to many more Binary frames! Woohoo!! (I log most of my miles at night, need to ride in the day and take more pictures!)

The bike went together really great. The Chuparosa is an awesome bike, and I had a perfect customer experience.

I have three frames from Binary Bicycles now: the Havok, Maniak, and Chuparosa. Although each is distinctly different, all of them are built to a high standard of quality and are a joy to build and ride. Jalene and George have been responsive when I’ve had questions and I look forward to seeing what they have coming in the future! If one is looking for a high-quality titanium frame, I would highly recommend they take a look at the designs offered by Binary Bicycles.
