Warranty

Binary Bicycles offers a limited lifetime warranty on our titanium frames and handlebars to the original owner. The warranty is non-transferable.

We will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any Binary Bicycles frame, frame parts, or bars that we deem to have failed due to manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship.

Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including the results of frame or bar fatigue, and normal maintenance items.  In addition, our warranty does not cover any damage, failure, or loss caused by accident, improper use in activities in which the frame or bar was not designed, improper installation or assembly of components, neglect, or improper maintenance.  Dents, scratches, abrasions, and other damage caused by normal use or handling are not considered defects.

Any components not produced by or branded Binary Bicycles bear their own manufacturer’s warranty.  Any claims on these components should be directed to the manufacturer’s service department.

Binary Bicycles’ liability under this warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of the non-compliant Binary Bicycles product and, under no circumstances, will Binary Bicycles be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages, or expenses (including but without limitation damage to property or other economic losses) whether under this warranty or in contract or negligence or otherwise.

Warranty Procedure

All Binary Bicycles products must be returned to us for warranty repairs and/or replacement. Binary Bicycles will, in its sole discretion, determine if the damage or defect is within the warranty terms, and either repair or replace the product. Please contact us to discuss the details of your claim.

This warranty does not cover the expenses associated with disassembling, shipping to Binary Bicycles, and reassembling the product; such costs are the sole responsibility of the original owner.  Please be sure to use a parcel service that allows you/us to track your package (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and provide adequate insurance coverage. In the event of a lost or damaged package en route to Binary Bicycles, and you do not have insurance to which you can make a claim, you will be responsible for the cost of a replacement frame.

Upon receipt, we will inspect the frame or bar, and if deemed warranty, replace or repair it at our expense, and return it to you as promptly as possible, postage paid.  If you require an expedited return shipping, let us know.  We can invoice you for the difference of the expedited delivery over and above standard ground shipping costs.

Keep in mind, your frame may require being hand-built if a replacement is not in stock.  If repair is not possible and replacement is required, it may take approximately 10-12 weeks for production.

Crash Replacement

We all hate to see it happen, but it does happen! Unforeseen incidents may result in the need to replace a frame not covered by warranty. Binary Bicycles strives to provide the original owner with an identical or comparable frame at a fair cost. However, due to changes and updates to our designs over time, an exact replacement cannot be guaranteed. Shipping costs will be solely your responsibility.
